Yesterday’s Report

Well the much anticipated consolidation breakout certainly arrived – and HOW! Price Action whipsawed 115 pips in a heartbeat once the Red News announcements began during early New York Session and the Daily Range exploded to more than 200 pips, setting NFP day up very nicely. We were a little adventurous yesterday firstly, spotting an opportunity late in Asia Session to get Long. London Session came nowhere near our entry which timed out but the signal proved prophetic as did our Daily Brief which provided a perfect template for London Session http://clip2net.com/s/4REfZR   . Right before the news we spotted a StP secret patterns, we normally don’t trade close to news, but because we had zero entry in the week so far, we sent a “smaller than you can” signal and the trade was a profitable one for those using “manual” StP Free Trade Technique with fine exit to Daily Pivot.

Technical Analysis

As always on NFP Day, Technicals take a back seat whilst the “Main Event” steals the show. After yesterday’s Tsunami, it will be interesting to see where we begin trading EUR/USD come Monday morning. I would expect some calm & consolidation through London Session however.The Day Ahead

Definitely no trading for me but I must say I have enjoyed this NFP week and have adopted a few “new tools” that will definitely be on my trading agenda next & for future first weeks’ of the month. So it is definitely possible to teach an “old dog new tricks”
